Dirty Robber’s old friend Jacob Hatley has released his long-awaited documentary about ‘The Band’ drummer and vocalist Levon Helm. It shows Levon’s uncommonly bright spirit in the end of his life, battling cancer and holding on to his music under dire circumstances.
The film has been several years in the making, and was one of Dirty Robber’s first titles jobs. We are so pleased to see it released on such a large scale.

Dirty Robber recently completed the post-production on a hot trailer video for Greenpeace, highlighting their expedition to the North Pole in which they are sending four young people whose lives are threatened by climate change to lay a flag for the future.
Want to Save The Arctic – check out the page and the video.
Saving the world is so icy cool, we even got a shout out from Hermione herself as well as Jared Leto and Ian Somerhalder.
Editorial by Olly Riley-Smith, graphics by Colin Kohler and Nick Frew, and adult supervision from Julie Hanson.

Josh Hegard’s latest edit for Director Wendy Morgan, “That’s Alright” by Laura Mvula. Smooth criminal, Check it!

Check out the first video for world-wide superstar Priyanka Chopra, directed by Joseph Kahn.
Coyote Post tackled both color and motion graphics on this FX heavy job. The goal of the video was to highlight the international nature of Priyanka’s appeal and we developed with the director a visual style bringing in elements of several areas of the world to create a dynamic, thumping production.

Wendy Morgan’s new video for C2C entitled “Happy” debuts today.
This video can be summed up with one word. Soul. Acid. Gospel. Traveling preacher gypsies? Ok. Maybe not one word.
Edit by Josh Hegard.

This video directed by our friend Jason Baum was a rotoscoping marathon. It was also a lot of good fun. Still can’t believe that concrete is actually wallpaper! Enjoy!

Our friends over at SoulPancake are making their TV debut, this Sunday 12pm ET/PT on OWN. Post by Coyote Post. Check it out!

The video for The Dropkick Murphys’ new single, Rose Tattoo premiered this week, directed by Dirty Robber’s own Chris Friend.
This time around bassist Ken Casey sings the tune. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said, “The lyrics and story of this song document important moments, milestones and people in my life as shown through the tattoos on my body. To do a video that also has photos and images of the bands’ fans who wear our mark for life adds even more emotion and meaning to the video for us.”
We’re so proud to present this video and proud of Chris Friend’s infinite dedication and enthusiasm.
